SPRING PICNIC 2015

The Palos Verdes Historical Society celebrated it first year of re-organization, along with the successful move of all the boxes and boxes of artifacts into a new storage facility. It was time to report to the members, share a view of a few of the exciting pieces in the collection, and have a relaxing afternoon in a historic setting. Members enjoyed a relaxed picnic at Frank Vanderlip's Historic Duck Pond, complete with a short historical tour by host Don Christy, and short reports by President Ken Dyda, Publicity Director Ann Hugh, Archivist Joe Cocke, and Special Events Coordinator Vicki Mack.

The first in a series of talks to share the Society's collection of artifacts, three local historians and authors will share stories found during their research.

Join us for wine, desserts, history and friendship.
