    To nurture an interest in our local history, its land, and its people; to fascinate and educate visitors of all ages and inspire curiosity and learning.

    Our goal is to establish an outstanding local museum in which to display historic documents and archaeological and cultural artifacts with an emphasis on continuing education for an ongoing and lasting experience for future generations.

The Palos Verdes Historical Society and the Palos Verdes Art Center hosted their third annual fundraising Tea on October 20, 2024—a now-iconic event that seems to effortlessly outdo itself year after year.
